The Executive Board of the Union of Oromo Evangelical Churches of Europe (UOECE) convened its annual meeting on Wednesday, 30 July 2026, one day ahead of the 2026 Annual General Conference. The meeting brought together board members to review the union's activities over the past year, evaluate the progress of ongoing initiatives, and finalise preparations for the General Conference, which is being held from 31 July to 2 August 2026. Among the key items discussed were financial reports, updates from member churches across Europe, and the union's strategic priorities for the coming year. In a significant decision, the Executive Board confirmed that the 2027 Annual General Conference will be hosted in Nuremberg, Germany. The 2026 Annual General Conference, which opens on 31 July, will bring together brothers and sisters from member churches across Europe for three days of worship, fellowship, business sessions, and a renewed commitment to the shared vision of the Oromo evangelical community.
